Captain Sean Tracey

Meet Expert Bass Fishing Captain, Sean Tracey:
One of NH’s top fishing guides, USCG-licensed Captain Sean brings a wealth of knowledge to every trip. His 35+ years of experience on the waters around Portsmouth is unmatched, and he's truly passionate about helping his clients have a great time. He loves teaching young kids how to fish. He's patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to share his tips and tricks for catching the most or the biggest fish. With his help, you'll be able to learn new techniques and improve your skills, no matter what your level of experience.

We fish with live bait (usually mackerel), lures, and plugs, depending on the day. If you’re an experienced fly fisherman and can handle a 9-weight rod, that’s an option. All rods, reels and tackle are provided and included.

One of the things that sets Captain Sean apart is his commitment to providing a personalized experience for every client. He takes the time to get to know each angler and their specific goals for the trip, and tailors his approach accordingly. Beyond his skills as a fishing guide, Captain Sean is just a great guy to spend time with. He's friendly, outgoing, and always ready with a joke or a story to share. He’s a budding standup comedian on the weekends! Spending a day on the water with him is not just about catching fish, but also about enjoying the camaraderie and friendship that comes with a shared passion for fishing.
